A History in Postcards
Chapter 4 Early Postcard Booklets Page p.14: FORT WILDERNESS
FORT WILDERNESS

All of the cards in this booklet, with the exception of the cover shot of Goofy, are new views not released in the earlier Fort Wilderness postcard booklet.

Although most cards in this booklet are new views not released previously, and, although this booklet came out several years later, some of the pictures from the two booklets were not taken that far apart in time... take for example the card below, the one of the family at thier tent... This one sure dosen't look like it was taken that long after the similar picture in the first booklet in fact it is the exact same family in front of the exact same tent wearing the same clothes in only slightly different positions I'd say these pictures were snapped moments apart! and then there's the postcard of the two guys playing checkers... it's the same two fellows who appeaed in the later version on the FORT WILDERNESS TRADING POST postcard from the first booklet, they are wearing the same clothes, the one fellow seems to have found his hat in the interim, but, the other fellows hat is still sitting on the barrel beside them.
